How is Cancer formed? Cancer cells are formed from normal cells due to a modification / mutation of DNA and/or RNA. These mutations are induced by other factors such as toxic chemicals in the air, water and food, etc. Cancer cells are formed continuously (it is estimated that there are about 10,000 cancer cells at any given time in a healthy person). Why do some of these form cancers and some don't? Our body regenerate by division of healthy cells. One cell divides into two cells. Then the two cells becomes four and so on continuously. Healthy hair does not need to hide behind chemicals

*Dimethicone is a type of polymer belonging to the polydimethylsiloxane chemistry family name. Sometimes dimethicone is listed as polydimethylsiloxane in the ingredients list to confuse you. The term siloxane means a molecule which is made out of one silicon atom and one oxigen atom; which is why it is also refer to as silicon. Some medical products are made from polydimethylsiloxane such as implants into & inside your body. It may not be harmful to you but consider the "why" it is put into regular shampoo.

A developed country such as the USA has many safeguards in place to protect it's people. If a product claims something that is not true they will be punished and made an example of, through punitive law suits that can amount to millions of US$, so that future products will not be misleading or it will suffer similar consequences. When a product does not meet some minimal safety standards it is not approved. Even though some products are found to be harmful later on, it was approved using all available information at the time.

According to the scope of The US National Organic Program (NOP), only products that satisfies a set of growing criteria can be labeled organic. Products that are grown according to an organic-production-system that is managed in accordance with the Organic Foods Production Act (OFPA) of 1990 and The National Organic Program can be labeled as organic.

Sad to say, but English language has gone one step to the dogs. Take for example:

If someone says to you, "don't buy non-organic apple". Is there a non-organic apple that you can eat? Maybe if it made of wax or metal, but can you eat it? If the apple is grown using commercial fertilizer or is sprayed with pesticide, it is labeled NON organic--because commercial fertilizer and pesticide are not allowed. Then what is that apple? A rock, an iron, or what? ( Cannot claim as a block of wood ! Even wood is organic !)

The confusion happens because we use the wrong terms. A better label would be Organically grown and non-organically grown. Well, since we are stuck with it--at least you know the IQ of the person that first used the "organic" term to describe organically grown is ...(not allowed to say it publicly. here is a hint: I???T); to call that person bird-brain would insult all birds.   

You might have heard that organically grown food does not use fertilizer! Then how will it grow? Grows naturally. If they don't use fertilizer for organically grown products, the supply of organically grown products will be EXTREMELY limited, such that a naturally grown apple will cost 10 times the cost of a regular apple and the whole grown organically business will collapse. The first harvest will be the most plentiful. Subsequent harvests will dwindle as the nutrients in the earth gets depleted. Yes, growing organically uses fertilizer. ( Growing naturally means MINIMAL human intervention. No fertilizer or water supplied. Everything done by mother nature. The only human intervention is harvesting.)  

You might have heard that organically grown products does not contain chemicals. huh??? What???  This explanation does not make sense. You are right! It does not make sense and those people who had told you that does not fully realize what organically grown products mean?

Chemicals exist in nature and can also be made by man. Take fertilizer for example. Commercial fertilizer refers to fertilizers that are man made--made by mixing chemical compounds. Organic growers call it organic compost but it still function as fertilizer. Regardless of which type of fertilizer, both contain chemicals to help the produce grow--otherwise there is no point in adding fertilizer. So, CHEMICALS ARE DEFINITELY USED.

The difference is that organically grown products are grown without using man made chemicals--No pesticide and no commercial fertilizer. Every thing used must be "naturally" processed. For example, the compost is just food that is decompose by bacteria. Even so, there are acceptable ways of cheating. We can increase the temperature in the decomposing vats to induce the bacteria to process faster; so it is not so "naturally" produced but the compost is still the same whether processed slowly or compressed.
